How do I update the theme without losing theme settings?

Hi, good evening, I downloaded the new update of the theme but when installing it, I lost the settings of the theme and would like to do this update, without losing such contents, how do I?

Hi,

Could you please specify, what settings exactly have you lost while installing new theme???

We always recommend taking a backup of the old theme before updating the theme.

While installing an updated theme, you just need to take backup of the old theme. Add updated theme and activate it.
This will not lead to loss of existing contents of your site.

Please elaborate on the issues you are facing while updating the theme, so we can help you in a better way.

Hi,

when updating my theme, I lose all settings within the Customize> Theme Settings and to have these settings again do I need to do manual or do you have some export / import plugin that could do this?
