Changing Link Colors and no bold

How do I change the colors of visited links. My links in picture captions are totally gone after being visited. I can see they are there but they don’t show up. Also, I have no bold at all. I make something bold and it just stays exactly the way it is.

In the menu when you have visited a link, it turns black…on black so it can no longer be seen. I would like to have it stay white or turn to another color. I can’t figure out where you change the colors of states in this menu.
Also, in links that are on photos or just about anywhere, once visited they turn white. How do I change the visited state?
Can you also tell me how to create live links on the home page? I would like the e-mail link at the top to be clickable? No where in the Header settings can I find anything that allows me to enter a link.

You need to add the links where you want to add in your home page top bar.
We have just added the text to display the information.

That’s not possible in your template. On the template there is an e-mail address. How do I select it in order to make it clickable? I have searched all the ways to customize the site but I certainly can’t find it. And I am still trying to figure out why bold text is not appearing when changed to bold text???
