Hi,
No. It will not lose your previous settings. You just need to upload it to wp-content/themes. And delete the old one.
Thanks
April 6, 2018 at 2:13 pm #4629burkeParticipantGood morning. I was able to successfully apply the update. I needed to rename the old folder before it would install (“folder exists” message). I suppose I could have deleted theme with the same result. But thank you.
I do see that the Trainer’s name is now a hyperlink to the post. That is exactly what I was looking for! You guys are the best! I appreciate your caring and quick updates! Bravo!

April 27, 2018 at 12:57 pm #4889burkeParticipantHello –
How can I set the default “Header Background Color” to #901010?
I am using the Header Slider on the home page. I do not want a color banner overlay on the homepage, but I do want it on other pages. If I do not set a Header Background Color there is no home page banner (full slider), however, the banner defaults to blue on other pages. If I set the Header Background Color to #901010 a banner of that color now appears on the home page, which I do not want.
In the end I want to end up with picture 1 and 4
1. No header background set; full slider picture. This is the desired outcome.
2. Hung Gar page deaults to blue banner
3. Header background set to #901010; color banner now appears across top of page, cutting off part of the slider picture
4. With the Header Background Color set, color #901010 now appears at the top of the Hung Gar page. This is the desired outcome.

April 28, 2018 at 4:58 am #4894developer vwthemeParticipantHi,
Just change the color you want to add on to the other pages. It will add to the home page as well. In order to remove it add the below CSS to the child theme style.css (which you will find Appearance -> Style.css) Add the following at the bottom if you have activated the child theme. If you haven’t activated the child theme. Add this to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS
.home #header {
background: transparent;
}Let us know if it works as per your expectation.
Thanks

ValérieJuly 25, 2018 at 1:05 pm #6033developer vwthemeParticipantHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
You got the premium theme download links on your order confirmation mail which contains the following zip files:
1. VW Fitness Pro
2. VW Fitness Pro child
3. Title Banner Plugin
4. Gallery Images Plugin
5. VW fitness Pro post typeIf you haven’t got the zip file of the theme, please send us your order number, we will give you the login credential of your account on our website
VW Fitness Pro is a premium version theme and VW Fitness Pro child is a child theme. The “Title Banner Plugin”, “VW fitness post type” and “Gallery Images Plugin” are theme required plugins.
If you have successfully completed theme installation, follow the below steps to get the demo content on your homepage.
1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.
Label it “home” or anything as you wish. Then select template “home-page” from template drop-down.
Check screenshot: https://www.vwthemes.com/docs/doc-assets/home-page-template.png
2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading –> Set the front page display static page to home page.
Check screenshot: https://vwthemes.com/docs/vw-fitness-pro/images/set-front-page.png
It will show the demo content on the home page. Then customize it from the Appearance -> Customize -> VW Settings
The remaining three plugins must be added through the Plugins -> Add New. Plugin configuration steps are already included in the documentation:
https://vwthemes.com/docs/vw-fitness-pro/#section-7
Additional Information:
Child theme: A child theme acquires styles, features, and functionalities from its parent theme. A child theme is an effective way to make modifications in the styles/ features of the parent theme without adjusting the code of parent theme. Along these lines, you can simply update the main WordPress theme with no stresses in regards to your customization and changes. Basically, a child theme is used to override the features of parent theme without affecting the parent theme. We suggest our customers, to make any of the changes to the child theme in case if any and child theme should be activated.
If you got stuck somewhere then send us the query. If you want we can set up your theme, make a user for us assign administrator role and send us the username and password. We have a free theme installation support.
Thanks
December 13, 2018 at 12:22 pm #8599contact16ParticipantCan someone tell us where you get the small green images in the services section?
December 14, 2018 at 3:36 am #8616l.hernandezParticipantI just installed VW Fitness Pro for my friend’s web site. I’m following the Pro Documentation step-by-step for the VW Settings features (e.g., Slider, Our Services, About Us, etc.), but no changes ever occur on my homepage…it’s just stuck. Is there something I’m doing wrong or am I missing something?
Thank you,
Dan
