You may be aware that new regulations for data protection came into force last year when dealing with personal data in the European Union (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR). One of the requirements for GDPR compliance is that when somebody sends their personal information (e.g. name, email etc), they must give their implicit acceptance to the terms and conditions under which they are giving their permission. This is typically covered on a websites Privacy Statement. Whenever a person is sending any personal details, we must get their implicit agreement that they accept the terms and conditions of that particular website. Is there a way of adding a link to a websites Privacy Policy on any screen where there is a facility to send information and a ‘Tick Box’ for them to indicate that they have read/accept those conditions before they Click either the ‘BOOK’ or ‘SEND’ button on the home screen or the ‘Get in Touch’ ‘SUBMIT’ button on the Contact Us screen?
