Changing Menu Font Size

How do I change the size of the font in the main menu? I’ve tried every option under customize, and I just can’t get it any larger — or alternatively it appears larger on my end but when I click “publish” I don’t see the changes reflected on the web. Can anyone offer any insight? I even tried to do it under additional CSS and saw no change.

I just want to change the size of the font in the main menu at the top of the page. None of the options under customize seem to make a difference, or if they look larger in the preview the changes don’t show once I click “publish.”

I don’t really care what the size is, as long as it’s “bigger.” Probably something around 22 would work. Thanks!

22 would be very big. Here is the CSS for size 18.

Kindly follow the steps given below:

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS >> Paste the given CSS on it >> Publish.

#header .nav ul li a {
color: #4a007d;
padding: 20px 6px;
font-size: 18px;
font-weight: 600;
letter-spacing: 1px;
display: block;
}

I also would like for the menu font to be a larger size. Adding the ability to choose the font size would be ideal, as the number of links would vary from site to site and the sizing could be too large if there were a large number of links displayed.
