Adding sections using the demo theme

Hello, the demo theme fits what I needed perfectly, but I cannot seem to find where I can add sections into the demo pages. I want to add some content and possibly change the layout of the current ones. I’ve tried adding content into the pages manually but it never shows up. As per your request, there is no suh option to add an extra section on the homepage, you can add things in inner pages.

Besides the customize section, am I able to change anything within the sections on the demo home page? Can I change the order of these sections? I need to put an opening block in with some text so people know where they landed and what we do without having to sit through a slider. Also, is there a plugin or download that contains some of the images you used in the demo theme. I like them, but some are not in the library.
