Sticky header jumpy/glitchy on relatively short pages

When the page content is of certain height (just right so that if we display full header it causes scrolling and transition to collapsed sticky header, but right after transition overall page height does not require this type of header so it tries to transition back to full height header and so in cycle) you can observe jumpy jerky rendering for some time as in linked video

Does anyone have a solution to this?
