What is a Wordpress Template?

A WordPress template serves as the skin for websites built using the WordPress content management system. A WordPress template is incredibly simple to setup. You may quickly modify the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template comes with all the necessary source files, and you are free to change and expand it however you see fit.

File Structure

The template package you downloaded includes several folders. Let's take a look at what each folder contains:

    Screenshots -contains template screenshot. Not for production.
  • theme -contains wordpress theme files
  • "vw-gardening-landscaping-pro" -this folder contains all the necessary files for the theme.
  • "license.txt" -contains license details
  • "readme.txt" -contain information about theme images path, font use and usage script

My site was working fine before? Who changed the File Permissions?

Incorrect file permissions may prevent WordPress from creating folders, uploading images, or running certain scripts.

WordPress requires server permissions to manage files and create folders.

  • After that select all folders in root directory and then right click to select File Permissions’.
  • wp-config >> permissions dialog box >> click on checkbox read and write >> Click on the OK button to continue
  • The same procedure should be followed for the wp-content folder.

Template Installation

The process of installing a template is very straightforward and easy.

All installation steps can be done within WordPress interface. It makes the process more comfortable and faster.

There are two methods for installing the system.

To install a theme using WordPress admin, follow these steps

First, log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.

1.Next, navigate to the "Appearance" menu and select "Themes."

2. Once you are on the themes page, click on the "Add New" button located at the top of the page.

3. Select the Upload Theme button.

4. Click the "Browse" button, select the vw-gardening-landspace, and then click the "Install Now" but


5. WordPress will now proceed with installing your selected theme, and upon completion, you will see a success message that includes options to activate the theme or preview it live. Congratulations! Your theme has been successfully installed and set up.

2-Install a Theme using FTP

The second method of installation is to upload the theme via FTP. To use this method, first connect to your site via FTP and navigate to the wp-content/themes folder. Unzip the downloaded theme file and upload only the extracted Total folder to your server.

Next log into your WordPress site and navigate toAppearance >> Themes to activate Total.

Plugin Installation.

To manually install a WordPress Plugin, download the.zip archive and follow the steps below for Upload plugin.

Install Required Plugins:

VW Gardening Landscaping Pro Posttype Plugin

Go to Dashboard >> plugin >> Add New >> Upload plugin.

Install and activate by clicking the Install Now button.

Theme Wizard

Follow the following steps to import content using Theme Wizard

1) Go to Dashboard >> Getstarted

2) Insert your key.

3) CLick on Wizard and then start now.

4) Install Plugins.

5) Import your Customizer and Gutenberg-based demo content.

You can use this video to configure your demo content.


Section Ordering

Section Arrangement and Reorganization

Section reordering essentially means rearranging the section to meet our needs. To proceed with this section, drag the section to the top or bottom of the page where you want it. when you will drap any section top or bottom your front view will change according customizer values.

Section re-ordering is as simple as dragging and dropping options into any order you desire.

In order to move on to Section Ordering.

Step 1 Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customizing >> Theme Settings >> Section Ordering

Then, select "Demo Content Importer" and then "Run Importer."

Section Color/Font Pallette

Color/font selection is a simple process. These options are available in all sections of the customizer. It is a complete image that demonstrates the colour and font palette. You can change the colour and fonts of the headings, paragraph, and buttons with a single click.

Depending on the number of options available in that section, each individual section has the option to set the colour palette for Headings, Title/Text, Paragraph, Button Text, and Button Background.

Setup Home Page Template

To configure the Home page, follow these steps.

  • 1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    Label it "home" or whatever you want. Then, from the template dropdown, select "home-page."

  • 2. Set the front page: Go to Setting >> Reading >> Set the front page display static page to home page

    • When you're finished, you'll be able to see all of the demo content on the front page.

Once you view your site after activating the theme, You will see the index page with the latest post. Now you must configure the home page template to display all of the demo sections on your front page.

9.1. Setup Header Section

Follow the steps below to set up the Header Section.

1. Go to Go to >> Appearance >> Customize >> Site Identity.

2. Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> add new page . In order to continue with Social Icons.

For menu you need to add pages from Pages >> Add new and then add them to the Appearance >> Menus

In order to continue with Social Icons.

In this way you can add the menu section.

9.1.1. Setup Social Icons

In order to proceed with Social Icons.

Appearance >> Customize >>Theme Setting>>Social Icons.

You can add the Social Icons in this manner.

9.1.2. Setup Topbar

To proceed with the topbar section,

Go toNavigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Topbar option.

This is how you add the final header section.

4. Setup Header Widgets

To proceed with the header widget section,

Go to Navigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Header option.

9.2. Setup Slider Section

To proceed with the slider.a

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Slider Settings

This is how you add the slider section.

9.3. Setup Our Expertise Section

To proceed to the Our Expertise Section,

Go to Customizer >> Theme Settings >> Our Expertise.

You can add Our Expertise Section this way.

9.4. Setup About Us Section

This way, you can include Our Expertise Section.

Go to Appearance >>Customizer >> Theme Settings >> About Us Section.


This way, you can include an About Us section.

9.5. Setup Our Services Section

To proceed with the Our Services Section, we must first install the VW Gardening Landscaping Pro Posttype plugin.

Go to Dashboard >>Plugins and activate VW Gardening Landscaping Pro Posttype plugin. Services Option will appear in dashboard.

Then Go to Services >>Add New.

Go to Appearance >>Customizer >> Theme Settings >> Our Services Section.

Choose the number of services you want from the customizer.

You can add Our Services Section this way.

9.6. Setup Working Process Section

To proceed with the Working Process Section,

Go to Navigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Working Process Section option. .


You can add a Working Process Section this way.

9.7. Setup Our Project Section.

To proceed with Our Project Section, we must first add and activate the VW Gardening Landscaping Pro Posttype Plugin.

After activating the plugin, the Projects option appears in the dashboard.

Now create category. Go to Dashboard >> Projects >> Categories. Add New Categories here.


For adding projects,

Go to Dashboard >> Projects >> Add New . Select the Category and fill in the blanks. Please see the screenshot below for more information.


Go to Navigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Our Project option. .

Choose the number of projects from this menu.



You can add Our Project Section this way.

9.8. Setup Pricing Plans Section.

To continue with this Pricing Plans Section,.

Go to Navigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Pricing Plans option. .

9.9. Setup Our Product Section.

To proceed with Our Product Section, we must first install and activate the Woocommerce Plugin.

After activating this plugin, the Woocommerce option appears in the dashboard. To include Products in this section,

Go to Dashboard >> Products >> Add New . Refer the below screenshot for more details.


Then, Go to Navigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Our Products option. .

Choose the number of products from this menu.


You can add Our Products Section this way.

9.10. Setup Our Records Section.

To continue with Our Records Section,

Go to Navigate to the Theme Settings section within the Appearance customization options, and then select Our Products option. .

Add all the details here.

9.11. Setup Our Testimonials Section

To proceed with the Our Testimonials Section, you must first upload and activate the VW Gardening Landscaping Pro Posttype plugin.

After activating this plugin, a testimonial option appears in the dashboard. Regarding Testimonials

Go to Dashboard >> Testimonial >> Add New

Go to Customizer >> Theme Settings >> Testimonial

Choose the number of testimonials from this menu.

You can add Our Testimonial Section this way.

9.12. Setup Our Team Section

To proceed with the Our Team Section, you must first upload and activate the VW Gardening Landscaping Pro Posttype plugin.

After activating this plugin, a team option appears in the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard >> Team >> Add New

From this section, select the number of teams.

Go to Customizer >> Theme Settings >>Our Team


You can set up Our Team Section in this manner.

9.13. Setup Why Choose Us Section

To proceed to the Why Choose Us section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Why Choose Us .

This way, you can include a Why Choose Us section..

9.14. Setup Latest News Section

To proceed to the Latest News Section Follow the steps outlined below.

First, we must create posts for the Latest News Section. In order to create posts,

Go to Dashboard >> Posts>> Add New

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Blog

This way, you can include a section for the most recent news.

9.15. Setup Our Partners Section

To proceed to the Our Partners Section Follow the steps outlined below.

Go to Appearance >>Customizer >> Theme Settings >>Our Blog

You can add Our Partners Section this way.

9.16. Setup Footer Section

To proceed with the Footer Section Follow the steps outlined below.

Drag the required custom fields into the footer columns.

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets

This is how you add the Footer Section.

9.17. Setup Contact

In order to proceed with Contact Section,first you need to upload and activate the contact form 7 plugin.

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New

Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Contact

Add a contact form shortcode to the contact page.

Go to Appearance >> Theme setting >> Contact

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

How to Enable Plugins If you want these features in your theme, you must activate the plugin. To activate the plugin in your theme, follow these steps.
